Updates, insights, & a tip you can use
It has been a busy month in the SuperEasy office and in the retirement savings world.
In August, we hosted an excellent webinar presented by Harbour Asset Management – check out the link for a 25-minute summary of recent market activity and what it means for SuperEasy members.
Charlie and I have continued visiting councils around the country to ensure staff are aware that they have special access to SuperEasy KiwiSaver and SuperEasy Superannuation.
We are also helping prepare people for the changes in KiwiSaver – you can sign up to find out about changes for teens by following the link further down in this newsletter.
Speaking of links: we have links to ‘KiwiSaver in the news’ below.
Be aware that often these articles are ‘sponsored media’. Remember, we don’t spend our members fees on advertising and sponsorship, because we are a unique scheme only for the local government sector and their immediate whānau. It is competitive out there, but we are confident that our fees are among the most competitive in the market. We are proud to serve people who are serving their communities.
Since August we have enjoyed talking to members in Timaru, Waitaki, Waimate, Stratford, New Plymouth, Tasman & Nelson. We also spoke to staff at Taituarā and were very pleased to attend their excellent conference.
A special mention goes to our friends at Taranaki Regional Council, who are now able to access the full range of SuperEasy services! Welcome to the family!
Lastly, don’t forget that our App will be out in the next couple of months – what a good Christmas present!
